Skeptical or Sceptical?

doubting that something is true or useful: Many experts remain skeptical about/of his claims. Fewer examples. I'm a bit skeptical about his chances of success. Some common synonyms of skepticism are doubt, dubiety, mistrust, suspicion, and uncertainty. While all these words mean "lack of sureness about someone or something," skepticism implies unwillingness to believe without conclusive evidence

Cynical

1. believing that people are motivated purely by self-interest; distrustful of human sincerity or integrity.
